BADSHOT Lea pulled further away from the lower reaches of the Combined Counties League Division One with three valuable points against Chessington.

A see-saw battle at Krooner Park was eventually decided by Zac Hawker’s 72nd-minute winner.

A Louis Hibbert goal put the Baggies ahead after 12 minutes, but Robbie Burns equalised for Chessington before half-time.

Gavin Brainch restored Badshot Lea’s advantage 13 minutes into the second half, only for Kieron Robinson to swiftly put the visitors level again.

Hawker marked his return to the club with the decider and the Baggies held out for the victory.
