Torrential rain on Friday and in the early hours of Saturday put paid to key fixtures in the Combined Counties League at the weekend.

Badshot Lea’s scheduled Premier Division clash with Redhill at Krooner Park in Camberley on Saturday was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch, while Farnham Town’s Division One match with Deportivo Galicia at the Memorial Ground (pictured) suffered the same fate.

Lea did at least return to action on Tuesday night after their enforced lay off but were soundly beaten 4-1 away at CB Hounslow in the second round of the Combined Counties Premier League Cup.

On Saturday, with the prospect of a much brighter weather forecast, Badshot Lea travel to face mid-table Cobham in the Premier Division while Farnham Town are away at Godalming Town as they look to return to the top of Division One. Both games kick off at 3pm.
