ALDERSHOT'S main priority after their second win in four days was to extend Dan Holman's loan period from Colchester.

Holman was comfortably the best player on the pitch as Aldershot, playing their third match in seven days, gave a performance that was all about grit and determination, with Holman's 53rd-minute goal breaking Nuneaton's resistance.

"He works so hard and with a couple of goals and several assists, he has been a major turning point in our season," said Andy Scott.
