ANDY Scott's young Aldershot side continued to suffer growing pains with a frustrating defeat on Merseyside last Saturday.

The Shots' third loss of the season was, in many ways, a carbon-copy of their previous away match at Salisbury: a tale of two contrasting runs. This was Southport's third successive home victory, while Aldershot, once again, failed to recover from conceding the first goal.
