THREE people were hurt in a head-on crash opposite The Donkey Inn near Elstead on Thursday evening last week.

The emergency services were alerted to the crash on the B3001 at Charles Hill between The Donkey and the Seale Road junction, at around 8.50pm on July 27.

A crew from Farnham Fire Station was first on the scene, and provided both scene safety as well as emergency medical assistance until the ambulance service arrived.

Three ambulance crews attended and South East Coast Ambulance service reported “a man aged approximately in his 60s suffered from chest pain and was taken to Royal Surrey County Hospital.”

A further two patients were also taken to the Royal Surrey, however no further details had been given as the Herald went to press.

Surrey Police later confirmed the crash resulted in “a number of casualties” but no-one is believed to have suffered “life-changing” injuries.

The B3001 was closed in both directions for a number of hours after the crash.
