Around 70 people sat down to celebrate Scotland’s national poet, in the prestigious surroundings of Farnham Golf Club at The Sands, which proved to be a first-class venue, according to those who attended.

Once bellies were filled and thirst quenched, it was time for the Ceilidh with music from Roughditch Folk, which had party-goers dancing into the early hours, leaving them wondering why they didn’t do this more often.
