MOTORISTS will soon be able to pay and display using card payments in Central, Upper and Lower Hart car parks in Farnham.

The upgrade is part of Waverley Borough Council’s car park investment programme, which recently included the installation of ramps at the ticket machines nearest disabled bays.

Customers will be able to pay with credit or debit cards, using either the chip and pin facility or contactless touch pad, and get a receipt with their card transactions.

Waverley has already installed card payment machines in car parks in Cranleigh and Godalming, with Haslemere also to follow soon.
