Reported crime levels in central Farnham rose to their highest point for a year in August.
The number of crimes reported during the month rose from 81 to 114 according to the latest www.police.uk figures with incidents involving violence or sexual offences (VSOs) accounting for 34 of the figure.
There were 37 incidents involving anti-social behaviour or public order while crimes involving drugs were reported in the East Street and Gostrey Meadow areas.
There was a drop from 42 to 30 over the same period in the Weybourne, Badshot Lea and Moor Park patch with anti-social behaviour (12) being the most frequently reported crime.
The number of crimes reported in the Wrecclesham, Rowledge and The Bourne patch also fell from 65 to 46.
