ALTON Sequence Dance Club is on the move.

After 72 years in residence, the club will hold its last Monday evening session at Alton Assembly Rooms next Monday (October 15) before moving to Wootey Infant School where they will meet from October 22, but at the earlier time of 7pm-9.30pm.

According to club leader Pat Cushing, the school can offer a great ground level dance floor, with a small kitchen area and easy parking.

However, Alton Sequence Dance Club’s three-yearly Saturday evening dances, which attract dancers from a wide area, will continue to be held in the main hall at Alton Assembly Rooms.
