A FARNHAM charity helping elderly residents get to doctors appointments has criticised over-zealous traffic wardens for hindering its volunteers with unnecessary parking fines.
Care Farnham's voluntary drivers ferry clients to more than 1,000 GP and hospital appointments every year, in return for minimal donations towards its running costs and other worthy causes in the town.
But since Guildford Borough Council began enforcing on-street parking in Farnham last April, the charity says its volunteers have been blighted by increasingly strict traffic wardens.
