CHILDREN attending the Alton (Convent) School Nursery at Medstead celebrated the nursery’s first birthday last week with a Mad Hatter’s tea party.

Run by nursery manager Ophea Waite-Uden dressed, like the children, in fancy dress, the party featured a magician, balloons, an amazing cake kindly made by one of the parents, and loads of fun.

Alton School Nursery is based at St Lucy’s Convent and takes children from six months old.
