TOWN councillor David Beaman wants Farnham's residents to make the forthcoming annual meeting of electors "one to remember" – by turning out in force to voice their opinions on the East Street development.

The meeting, on March 29 in the town council chamber, provides the opportunity for people on the electoral roll to raise any matter of interest to the town.

Supporters of the current Crest Nicholson scheme at Waverley Council have frequently dismissed the opposition to the scheme at "just a handful of people".

Now the Independent councillor is calling on those who have not spoken out before, but have a view, to make themselves known and heard.
