ON the day two water companies in the South announced restrictions were to be lifted, South East Water said it would keep its hosepipe bans in place while it monitored water levels.
While Southern Water and Thames Water decided on Wednesday to lift their bans, customers of SE Water, including those in Farnham, remain subject to restricted use.
The penalty for ignoring the ban is £1,000.
