KATHLEEN Doyle celebrated her 101st birthday with her close family in intimate surroundings and the Mayor of Farnham, Pat Frost, visited for a short while and wished her many happy returns.

Kathleen, who is a resident of Abbeyfield Wey Valley Society’s, Hatch Mill received plenty of flowers from family and friends and a purple orchid from the society which Kathleen said was a “beautiful” colour.

She enjoyed a chocolate birthday cake, which she had requested from the Hatch Mill chef as chocolate cake is her favourite.
