RESIDENTS of Badshot Lea have been stunned to learn that that the village could be swamped with almost 950 new homes, after the potential of its green fields came under the microscope of planners.

Villagers have learned that Badshot Lea features conspicuously in a Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment as it prepares its new plan to guide development up to 2026.
