THE Woodlarks Centre and other guests were invited to Squire’s Garden Centre in Badshot Lea, for a special preview of its ‘Ice Grotto Adventure’ which has officially opened in the build-up to Christmas.

On arrival children will meet Santa’s chief elf ‘Elfin’ and together embark on a magical interactive adventure to save Christmas, where they will discover hidden clues in the advent boxes and help find the hiding place of Rudolph’s nose.

The adventure then continues with a visit to see Santa, where each detective will be personally thanked for their help if they manage to save Christmas. Children can tell Santa about their Christmas wish list and if they’ve been good, they’ll receive an early Christmas present.

Richard Wells, Squire’s Badshot Lea manager, said: “It was fantastic to see the school children and our chosen charity of the year ‘The Woodlarks Centre’ enjoying a special sneak preview of Squire’s ‘Ice Grotto Adventure’. The children were so excited to be greeted by Santa’s chief elf ‘Elfin’.

“They were great detectives, and once they’d found it, they met Santa in his grotto and received an early Christmas present. Seeing the children’s faces as they met Santa was definitely the best part of the day. We look forward to welcoming many more children when the ‘Ice Grotto Adventure’ is officially opened by Santa, who will arrive in a horse drawn carriage this Saturday at 10am! He’s even bringing some of his real reindeer with him.”

The Ice Grotto Adventure promises to be great fun for all the family and will take approximately 15 minutes, followed by a visit to see Santa. Tickets cost from £7 per child (includes a wrapped present) and £3 for adults. There’s a 10 per cent discount for groups of 10 or more.
