Pupils at a Farnham school have been given a lesson in politics and parliament by the town’s MP.
Gregory Stafford went back to classroom last week as the MP took part in a Q&A session at St Polycarp’s Catholic Primary School.
The Tory also gave out badges to the new Year 6 house captains and the pupil chaplain before joining in with prayers and a hymn.
The visit was well-timed as pupils recently learned about parliament, MPs and how UK laws are made.
“To then receive a visit from a current MP made all their learning so much more meaningful,” said subject co-ordinator, Jo McGrory.
“St. Polycarp's are so grateful to Mr Stafford for taking the time to come and visit us.”
