HUNDREDS of Tongham residents gathered on Monday night to unanimously condemn a controversial planning application to drill for oil in their village.
Representatives from Australian company Magellan Petroleum Pty Ltd fought off a barrage of questions from angry and confused members of the public who told them they felt "ambushed" by the proposals.
