AS many as 20 per cent of parents in Farnham have again missed out on the secondary schools of choice for their children, after places were allocated for September 2014 admissions.

Each of Farnham's three secondary schools – All Hallows, Heath End and Weydon - remain oversubscribed, leaving more than 100 children to miss out on their first preference schools.

This is despite Weydon advancing its expansion programme originally earmarked for 2015 by increasing its intake by 10 per cent – the equivalent of around 30 pupils - for this September's admissions.
