PLANS for a millennium night party in Farnham's central car park look destined to fail after Waverley Borough Council demanded that safety issues be cleared up by the end of the month.
A letter from Waverley chief executive Christine Pointer maps out a list of concerns and town mayor Vic Scrivens is criticised for promoting the event before permission to use the car park had been granted.
