PLANS to close Philips House in Headley Road, Grayshott, have come as a shock to residents this week.
The possible closure was announced at a meeting attended by residents, relatives, representatives of the Friends of Philips House, and housing director Jack Wilson from Hampshire Voluntary Housing Society, which owns the building.
Philips House resident Dorothy Thomas (85), said the news had come as an "absolute bombshell".
