BRING the children to Squire’s Garden Centre in Badshot Lea between Thursday, March 3 and Sunday, March 6 and they can plant a basket of flowers for mum, or make a special Mother’s Day card.

Visitors are welcome anytime between 10am and 5pm and from 10am to 4pm on Sunday – there’s no need to book, simply turn up on the day.

Children can plant a basket with three colourful plants and decorate with a bow. Squire’s will donate 20 per cent of the cost to Greenfingers, a charity who create inspiring gardens at children’s hospices around the UK.

Alternatively children can get creative and design their own card using flowers, stickers and coloured pencils to decorate.

The activities take around 20 minutes, and are available on a first come first served basis, and children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
