THE Potters Gate School community was feeling festive at the school’s annual Christmas fair on Sunday, December 3.

This year the Friends of Potters Gate raised more than £6,000 pounds which will be used to provide additional facilities at the school.

The fair was well attended, and great fun was had by all. Father Christmas arrived in style on his sleigh, he was elated to take a break from his hectic toy making schedule to hand out presents to the local children.

Deputy mayor David Attfield kindly gave up his afternoon to help run the bottle tombola.
