CHILDREN from Beacon Hill School were busy putting the finishing touches to the traditional Guy before the half-term holiday.
And their endeavours will come to fruition on Saturday night when it will be placed on top of the bonfire as part of the village fireworks celebration.
Reception class children were helped by buddies from year six who stuffed and dressed Guy Fawkes.
The annual Beacon Hill bonfire and fireworks, arranged by the school parents' association, will take place at Hindhead Playing Fields from 4.30pm.
The bonfire will be lit at 5pm and the fireworks are scheduled to go off at 5.30pm.
Meanwhile, the annual Chiddingfold bonfire also takes place on Saturday. Stalls will be set up on the village green and a shuttle bus from Witley Station starts running at 5pm.
A torch procession will set off from St Mary's Primary School at 7pm and the bonfire will be lit around 7.30pm.
Milland's display starts at the Recreation Field, in Iping Road, at 6pm.
