HEAVY traffic congestion is expected in Farnham town centre next week, with BT set to close a lane in The Borough for ‘fibre cabling and jointing works’.

The lane closure is scheduled to take place next Tuesday and Wednesday (June 13 and 14) between Barclay’s bank and the British Heart Foundation charity shop.

A lane of Union Road is also set to close today (Thursday) and tomorrow for roadworks by Thames Water, as will a lane of the A31 at Bentley this weekend for barrier repairs.
