A GIRLS' football team from Farnham has been crowned champions of the npower Girls Cup after a dramatic penalty shoot out at Wembley Stadium.

The journey to the national stadium started for All Hallows Catholic School, representing Aldershot Town FC, in October by winning their local, regional and area finals.

Both All Hallows and their opponents, Whitby School, playing on behalf of Tranmere Rovers, were a mixture of excitement and nerves as they toured round the stadium, with their game being played in front of thousands of fans ahead of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final.
