TAKE a step back into history and join Farnham in celebrating the Royal British Legion’s Victory in Europe and Victory over Japan Day fete.

The event which takes place on Saturday, August 20, from noon until 5pm at Gostrey Meadow in Farnham, will take visitors back to the 1940s as Natasha presents her wartime sweethearts 1940s and 1950s show.

There will also be World War II re-enactments, train rides and children’s rides, game stalls, inflatables, a raffle and music by the Glenn Miller Band and the Farnham Sea Cadets Band.

Refreshments on the day will include a barbecue.
