THE Tilbourne Players are excited to announce a one-act play evening in November. However, they are still on the look out for one male actor to take on a key role.

A Question of Attribution by Alan Bennett is based on Sir Anthony Blunt’s role in the Cambridge spy ring and, as Surveyor of the Queen’s Pictures, personal art adviser to Queen Elizabeth II. It portrays his interrogation by MI5 officers, his work researching and conserving art works, and his acquaintance with the Queen.

It captures the atmosphere of Whitehall during the Cold War, where nothing is as it seems, and promises to be a most enjoyable experience for all concerned.

If you are aged 45-60, available to rehearse during October and November, with production week November 23-29, please get in touch by emailing [email protected].
