LION and Lamb Yard will be transformed into a winter wonderland on Saturday, December 12, with real reindeer, carol singing and an appearance by Father Christmas himself.
Between 11am and 4pm, shoppers will be serenaded by two church choirs and Farnham Rock Choir, with a snow machine and hot chestnuts to add to the festive atmosphere.
Children will be able to meet Father Christmas in his sleigh as well as three reindeer including a six-month-old fawn, and good boys and girls may receive a few sweets in return.
The event has been organised by the newly formed Lion and Lamb Yard committee, chaired by Paul Gunyon, owner of India Jane interiors to raise the profile of the yard.
It comes a day before the annual Farnham Christmas Market in Castle Street and The Bush Hotel, as well as the Farnham farmer’s market - both taking place on Sunday
