Farnham mayor David Attfield opened the annual Woodlarks Summer Fete at Gostrey Meadow in June.

Cloudy skies didn’t put crowds off as the event raised £2,000, which will be reinvested back into the centre for future projects.

The fete was jam-packed with fun activities for all of the family, including facepainting, craft stalls, henna tattoos, a tombola and golf games.

There was also a Pimms and beer stand, barbecue and performances from Farnham Rock Choir and an Elvis impersonator.

Woodlarks’ activities co-ordinator, Jules West said: “We would like to thank all the support we were given by local businesses in giving us generous prizes for our Raffle. A big thank you too for all the support given to us by our hard working volunteers and staff to make the fete a successful and fun day.”
