Farnham Town have signed winger Jordan Alves from Aldershot Town on a short-term deal.

The 26-year-old has built an extensive career in the non-league circuit after spending his formative years in the academy system at Reading.

Alves enjoyed spells with the likes of Hartley Wintney, Basingstoke Town, Thatcham Town and North Leigh before joining Westfield in the Isthmian League South Central Division in November 2023.

Following his arrival, Alves scored 15 goals in 37 appearances for Westfield, finishing the season as their top scorer and firing them into the Isthmian League South Central Division play-offs where they were edged out 3-2 by eventual play-off winners Marlow.

His goalscoring exploits earned him a move to National League South side Bath City in the summer of 2024 where he would be a regular fixture in the side, providing 15 goal contributions including nine goals in 76 appearances across two seasons with the Romans.

Following their relegation from the National League South, Alves left Bath City for Aldershot Town in August 2026, making five appearances for the National League side.

“Jordan is a player we have been following for a very long time and I’m pleased we’ve been able to bring him in,” said Farnham Town chairman Harry Hugo.

“The stars haven’t quite aligned for us to sign Jordan in the past, but I know Paul Johnson is a huge fan of his and has always had him in his sights.

“Over the past two seasons, Jordan established himself as a regular with Bath City in this league and earned that step up with Aldershot.

“He’s got an eye for goal and is a creative live wire in the final third.

“Jordan also gives us the opportunity to experiment with different shapes and personnel combinations which is important, especially when players are missing with injury.

“You can never have too many goal threats and Jordan certainly adds another one to our squad.

“I’m looking forward to seeing what he can do for us.”
