Kids Planet Farnham, on Waverley Lane, was inspected on April 16, with safeguarding standards found to be met and the setting judged to be operating at the expected standard across the areas assessed.
Inspectors found that children, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), were thriving in an ambitious curriculum, developing social skills and building knowledge through engaging, age-appropriate activities.
The report praised staff for adapting learning to individual needs, with children receiving targeted support and personalised next steps. Bespoke staff training also helps ensure children can participate fully in activities.
Inspectors highlighted speech and language development through meaningful interactions, as well as opportunities for physical development in the garden, where children confidently navigated tunnels and sloped areas.
The report also recognised positive relationships with families, with regular advice helping parents and carers continue learning at home.
However, inspectors identified areas for improvement, including inconsistent key-person arrangements and some disorganisation during arrival times. They said leaders should strengthen oversight to ensure children receive consistent support and benefit from well-established routines.
Sheryl Crittall, nursery manager at Kids Planet Farnham, said: “We are incredibly proud of every member of our Farnham nursery team for their unwavering dedication and passion. Their commitment to creating a nurturing environment where every child can thrive was recognised during our Ofsted inspection and is something we celebrate every day.”
She added that the team was continually looking for ways to introduce fresh ideas and create memorable experiences to help children discover their interests and develop a love of learning.
The nursery, which caters for children aged up to four, has a dedicated sensory area for babies and an outdoor garden designed to encourage exploration and messy play.
